The Green Girl is a Sparkpeople New YOU Bootcamp drop-out after only four days.
My sprained ankle really put a damper on the daily exercises. I substituted exercises when it hurt my ankle but after awhile, I started feeling like I was just working out and not actually following the Sparkpeople New YOU Bootcamp program.
I went to the gym yesterday and managed to do a pretty intense 30 minute hill workout on the elliptical and another 30 minutes on the bike.
My ankle is feeling much better. It’s still sore when I put weight on it but when I am wearing my running shoes the arch support lessens the pain.
I’m hopeful that after 5 days off, I’ll be able to do my long run Saturday morning.
